Booji is sooo cute inside! I'm new to extensions and wigs, so Jasmine and the team have helped me learn how to care for my hair in between visits.I'm someone who asks the "whys" and "hows," and they were really patient with me and treated me with respect. I didn't feel embarrassed or ashamed for not knowing much.They also offer lash and brow services and also sell some hair care products (and snacks if you get hungry!)I leave looking like a movie star every time! I had tinsel put in my hair after I received a silk press and the tinsel didn’t curl even though it was placed after heat was applied to my hair, causing me to need to get it taken out because when my hair went back to curly the tinsel was still straightTaking the tinsel out is free, keep that in mind.When I went to my appointment, the stylist said to give her a few minutes and she’ll be with me. I was forced to wait nearly 40 minutes past my scheduled time. The process to take the tinsel out only took 10 minutes meaning I had to sit for nearly an hour for something that should’ve only been 15 minutes max. When I asked the stylist if I could have a gift card/something to make up for waiting for so long, she went and grabbed the owner.The owner was condescending, telling me I don’t deserve payment for a tinsel removal. She quickly removed the tinsel, saying she’ll give me this service on the house, despite it already being a free service and a service that was ONLY needed to correct their errors. Before I could say anything, she walked off.This was the worst experience I’ve had at a salon which makes me sad because I have been coming for a year and the stylists are super kind and helpful. I just can’t understand the lack of professionalism and grace, it was very off putting. very very disappointed

You can tell this place takes pride in their professionalism, great customer service, and quality of services! If you're looking for a place for braids or twists, I highly recommend the Booji Beauty Bar & Co.

I’ve been going there a few times everything always goes well, I booked with a specific stylist because she was super affordable. I get there and another stylist is doing my hair which i don’t mind. I’m thinking they would just have me pay what i booked. Nope. 245 more. When i already paid the 50 dollar deposit. I booked with a lady only charging 125. I mention that and am told “that stylist called off so you were put with another one that is level 2” It should’ve been mentioned before starting my hair that it was over 200 more than i was expecting to pay. Only gave me 45 off. Won’t be back.
